The US has made many mistakes, and our involvement in Vietnam may well
have been one of them, for certain our invasion of Panama was, as well
as our involvement in Bosnia and Kosovo. My point is simply that Ho's
letter, and his subsequent actions don't match up. if he believed in
representative republic, why did he not form that type of government in
North Vietnam? If he believed in freedom, why did he not allow the South
to determine their own destiny? If he was such a wonderful guy, why were
our men treated inhumanely?
