Housing prices are inflated, or were -- they have come down now -- but the
cost of title insurance is not the reason. Period.
The price of the house, and Closing Costs are separate things. The price of
the house drives the closing costs, not the other way around. There may or
may not be a conspiracy driving the price of housing, but title insurance is
not one of the signs. Title insurance may or may not be the result of a
conspiracy, but this affects closing costs, not the price of the house.
Make a clear and concise case of the relationship if you can. I do not think
you can. You are wrong, and Lisa's premise is wrong. Indeed, her premise --
as stated in her Subject Line -- is not even what the suit is about.
